Pros
Work life balance at FMC is very good, I was able to negotiate extra PTO and could use it at my own discretion. There are a great group of folks working there and all understand the hurdles you face working at FMC.
Cons
Turnover is ridiculous, especially at the operational level at the field locations. As soon as you build re pore with someone, poof they are gone. FMC Can't seem to retain the strong, smart, and sociable employees. I think it is honestly due to the fact that upper management has done a pretty awful job of providing guidance on how to navigate in the industry today. Every couple of months there is a new re-organization of the division and new managers, it provides a pretty unstable culture which creates fear within the employees to even want to stay.
