Pros

Transportation provided for workers situated at the manufacturing plant Canteen has subsidized food Decent medical benefits for staff

Cons

Transportation timings are ridiculously early and may even be earlier than if you were to travel to work on your own Canteen food is not even borderline edible or appealing - colleague found worm in the food once Your career opportunities depend on whether your manager likes you There are cases where people steal other's hard work and package it as theirs, thus claiming credit for work done The hardest working people are poorly rewarded if you do not catch the eye of the right higher-ups Poor career progression, worked six years without any advancement Used to be a good company to work for back in 2010, but not any more Work distribution is poor, you could be massively overloaded without any one to help you while your colleagues go home on time Recent retrenchment exercises have cut the best people, leaving a somber mood behind.

Pros

Non management staff are nice & friendly to work with. Used to be a better working environment.

Cons

Middle & senior management are very slow in making decisions and tend to ignore staff concerns on operational matters. Its either "their way" or "no way" in getting things done.. Cost reduction through cutting headcount is a joke. This is because they lay off local FMC non-management staff who are replaced with expats & new employees hired externally for certain departments. How does this help to reduce costs.??.duh.. Managers seem to retain their favorite staff members rather than retaining staff who work hard. Hard work is not recognized and employees are not motivated by the management to continue the good work.
