Pros
When the industry is doing well, it is very easy to move around the company to gain experience and try different things. When you have a good manager, you end up with more flexibility that allows you to maintain work-life balance while focusing on your work instead of tripping on the myriad rules governing employees.
Cons
Having a bad manager can easily make your work life (and to some degree, your home life) miserable. Employees are governed not only by listed rules, but also by FMC's "core values", meaning that anything that can be argued as running counter to one of the core values is a potential write-up.
