      The Good outweighs the bad

      Pros

      A lot of training is available for those that want it. Movement within the company is available for those that are qualified. Company puts out best product in the business.

      Cons

      A lot of training is required in safety and quality. Promotions are hard to get. Raises are small. Company works in a silo and what happens in one location could be duplicated in another in a different way. Conflicts between departments since they all run independently. No direction from upper manaqement. HR can be vindictive.

      Pros

      Market leading company in a growing area within the oil and gas/ energy industry. There are a lot of opportunities for those who know how to navigate the decision- making process. Best 401K program I've ever seen.

      Cons

      Innovation in technology is clear, but other functions clearly struggle with latent improvements and processes. HR, IT, Legal, Marketing, and Finance all need radical overhauls if the company is going to compete. Businesses are siloed and allowed to operate independently.

      Cons

      The only way to get a significant raise is to change jobs every 18 months.
