Pros
A majority of the people I work with on a daily basis are kind and good people. Most of them are the type of employees you would wish to hire for your company.
Cons
There is absolutely no career growth or career progression for IT employees. A majority of the managers seek to always hire external candidates instead of promoting from within and promoting individuals who have a proven track record, and have ambition and potential. One of the company's 'core values' deals with people and helping employees grow their careers. Management 'walks the walk' but they do not 'talk the talk'. Very hypocritical.
