Pros

Some of my favorite down to earth people I met while working at Fiber Materials. Great coworkers and a good sense of community. Yearly reviews and pay raises Quarterly bonuses based on floor performance and quota

Cons

Your quota is based on the average of the entire room, not your own abilities. This feeds the culture of over-achievers having to take the brunt of the work while others could slack off if the average was up enough to receive a bonus. The job is grueling on your body, After 2 years I was having chronic back and shoulder issues. Many people needed extended disability due to work place related injury. It didn't seem that management cared too much either, as they let go of their on site physical and massage therapist after a 6 month trial. Management is aloof and difficult to work with. Many higher ups work outside of your operating space and will quiet hire you to perform multiple roles without additional incentive. The building is in shambles. Chronic leaking and water damage, broken down appliances. The building is poorly lit and not well ventilated. More than once we faced extreme temperatures when the AC units broke in the summer.
