Pros

Money is decent and you’re able to make connections with a lot of high level executives.

Cons

The leadership at all levels (corporate, my individual office, etc.) is terrible. There is no real training. I don’t think anybody really knows what they are doing. Corporate only cares about the owners and even when the owners do things that are wrong, there is no accountability. Money matters more than character to them. They will allow anybody who pays money to them to open a franchise. This includes individuals who have no business owning and operating a business. A lot of recruiters were scared to go to corporate with any issues regarding their franchise owner because corporate is known for always taking the owner’s side. There is no HR and nobody to hold anybody accountable for their actions at the owner level. The owners really make all the money even if you’re the one who made the placement. They advertise that you will make a ton of money doing this but the reality is that it’s a scam and the owners and corporate walk away with most of the money. There is also NO work life balance. I worked for a woman who expected me to work 7 days a week/24 hours a day and if I didn’t pick up the phone at 9pm on a Saturday then she would go off and threaten to fire me. There were no boundaries.

Pros

Easy commute, experienced central office, small local office with great communication

Cons

Boss was a belching yelling tyrant, but that was luck-of-the-draw. Small commission %
