      Unvalued, poor corporate leadership, mediocre pay, no training

      Pros

      If you work with the right people, it can be a very good place to be. If your manager is experienced and well trained, and knows how to train you, you'll do well. If your PM knows how to do their job, you'll be alright. If your property owners aren't cheap/poor, you'll be alright.

      Cons

      If all of those above things do not magically line up, you will have a hard time. You will not like your job. You will be unhappy. You will likely be underpaid, with bonuses hardly making any additional income compared to other companies. Corporate makes decisions seemingly arbitrarily with no input from site level employees. There is no oversight, no proper training, no support, and most corporate employees work from home while you're making half as much and struggling every day.

      Pros

      I can't say there are any pros about this company. FPI has some sort of medical coverage but its not Kaiser and they offer a few other benefits.

      Cons

      Don't expect to get a bonus. If you're a Manager or Assistant Manager or anything else to do with running a property they don't do anything for their employees such as holiday appreciation. In the two years I was with FPI I don't recall getting a Merry Christmas or Happy New years email. I did receive a happy birthday email. The upper Management team people are stressed with attitudes, confused and never take accountability and notorious for giving you the wrong information.
