      Future prospects not good at Ringtail

      Pros

      Feedback specific to Ringtail team at FTI. Solid established software with the best analytics and visualizations in the eDiscovery space. Many long time devoted knowledgeable people in delivery roles.

      Cons

      New leadership since 2017 does not have a strategy for the business other than chasing large, hard-to-get deals. New leadership of the Ringtail group at FTI has a Trumpian temperament, lacks self awareness and favors people he likes and knows over experience and talent. Senior leaders doing software demos and answering RFP responses rather than delegating so they can set a legitimate strategy. FTI Technology segment seems more committed and seeing more profitability in Relativity hosting. Unclear if they have a long term commitment to Ringtail or plan to divest.

      You can craft your own path. No one ever says no Very social, work hard play hard Good business support, i.e IT, finance Splashes the cash on social events and more generally Lots of smart people

      Cons

      Infighting between senior management Lack of senior leadership Lack of diversity. Very much an old boys club ethos. Lack of formal career development Lack of focus on client needs as too busy with in fighting

      Tech segment in a rough spot, overall FTI is sound. Review is focused on Tech.

      Pros

      Coworkers were smart and experienced.

      Cons

      There is a good ole boy network. If you aren't in it or connected to someone that is, getting ahead is difficult. The Tech segment hasn't made money in many quarters. Recent attempts to sell the segment led to courting several suitors who backed out and those that did place a bid did so at a very low valuation. Recent attempts to lower costs to improve the financials seem desperate at best. Morale is currently low.
