      Pros

      FTI gives opportunities for various projects, places to work, travel, and personal development. It is almost exclusively a meritocracy and senior leadership are quick to recognize good work. The work is also very team focused and allows personnel to bond with teammates and develop lasting friendships not otherwise possible in the workplace. People are generally very social so out of town projects don't leave people lonely.

      Cons

      The work schedule and travel schedule can constantly chance and there is not always certainty for projects which makes planning a social life difficult in some instances but for people who are up-front with managers, it's usually not a problem.

      Pros

      You get to use your brain every day and gain the satisfaction of coming up with solutions on the fly to novel problems. Clients frequently express sincere appreciation for your efforts. The corporate culture is positive and collaborative and the people are smart, fun and interesting. Nice offices in convenient, downtown locations of major cities. Free food and drinks at the office, not to mention SeamlessWeb.

      Cons

      Being on call all the time, even when you're on vacation. Feeling like there's never enough time to accomplish long term tasks because you're constantly stuck on a treadmill. Feeling like you're working on really trivial tasks in the grand scheme of things.

      Pros

      It is a diverse and challenging environment. It is very merit driven and opportunities exist to take on a great deal of responsibility. It is a team oriented environment where there is a great deal of interaction between team members.

      Cons

      Tough to manage work versus personal life. Client driven industry where tight deadlines are a norm which often necessitates after hours or weekend work on a regular basis with very little notice. Managers are mindful of this and ask that the work be completed if the person is available and assists with getting other resources if the person is unavailable.
