Pros

Offices run independently providing small company feel but with the resources of a much larger corporation. Opportunity to travel for client engagements (may be a con for some).

Cons

Company's lack of general name recognition - often need to explain PwC origins of CF group. Job assignments can be hit-or-miss with engagements often extending longer than expected.

Pros

Great compensation, benefits, and open working environment. Better learning experience than I expected and a well respected company to put on one's resume.

Cons

Large organization where people get lost in the mix. This makes it harder to get noticed for promotions and positive reviews.

Pros

Depending on who you work for, there are some really great managers and the company is filled with very intelligent people with plenty of opportunities to learn.

Cons

It used to be a great company, yes times have been bad for most companies and FTI was not immune to this although for a good majority of the time they were still performing well. The problem is that nothing was ever invested in the corporate functions of the company and/or money was put into the wrong programs and areas. There is no culture, which isn't entirely an issue but don't expect to feel like you belong to anything outside of your group. They are feeling the pain now as many of the good employees have been leaving over the past year. There is a lot of talk about how much senior management cares and wants to invest in the employees, but its a lot of lip service. There are other consulting firms of similar size that are much better in terms of corporate culture, opportunities for advancement, etc.
