Pros
Weekly checks are good, nice co-workers, and the immediate supervisors are good people.
Cons
The pay is low, the overtime is issued with little warning, the health insurance premiums are expensive. Raises are very small, if at all, and there are no bonuses. The morale is low, and a lot of the employees who have a ton of seniority hate their jobs making it tough to maintain a positive attitude. The powers that be seem to be more interested in pinching pennies, and patting themselves on the back rather than making the necessary investments to have a great factory. This factory is disorganised at best. HR has no idea what is going on on the floor. Maybe not their fault, but HR should know what time first shift starts their workday.
