Pros

Free outfit every month, that's it

Cons

The working environment and corporate's practices left much to be desired. The company's goals and expectations often felt unreasonable and contradictory, leaving employees uncertain about their roles and responsibilities. When I first started working there, I was under the impression that it was a "modernized" version of retail. The stores are obnoxiously loud and bright, and if you're somnolent, you're going to hate coming in here. The increased emphasis on selling was intense even though as a regular associate, you do not get a commission or a bonus for meeting sales goals. We are instructed to go up to every customer and try to "build up a cart" to get them to spend as much as possible. It got to a point where certain coworkers would try to one-up other coworkers by "stealing sales". There is literally no incentive to above and beyond, and often times we operate with only one or two people in the evenings, and when it gets hectic, it's overwhelming. There seemed to be a glass ceiling n promotions and decision-making processes, which made it difficult for other deserving employees to advance in their careers. I'm talking about the corporate aspect. Do you think that anyone at the tippy top wants to compete for their job with an outsider? A lot of the reviews are obviously from the headquarters in California, or other higher-performing stores that get preferential treatment. Yeah of course you're going to say how great working at Fabletics is when you're in your glass cubicle drinking mimosas at 4 pm, but the reality for the average sales associate is completely opposite. Overall, my time at this company was a disappointing experience. I had hoped for a supportive and growth-oriented environment, but it fell short in many crucial aspects. While there were a few positive aspects of the job, the negatives outweighed them significantly. I would not recommend Fabletics to potential employees seeking a fulfilling and nurturing work environment.
