The culture is good in general, maybe still with a certain level of favoritism but not to the point where an employee gets distressed; Flat-hierarchy; I feel comfortable in admitting "I don't know"; Good work-life-balance; Opportunity to be exposed to lots of data and operate on a managed codebase; Freedom to do research;

Cons

Flat learning curve unless you drive yourself; Not the best physical office environment;
