I experienced too many to name.

I was hired out of school after a fairly rigorous interview process. I started working under a manager who was condescending and rude to me from my first day at work. I was doing my level best to understand all I could about the code and was also trying to maintain design standards, which were virtually non existent in the existing code and about which my manager made a big deal. Talk about double standards. I was told I was asking too many questions; also that I was not a good Engineer and forced to leave within a year. It may have been just my manager who made this job such a pain. But I do not understand how a new hire can learn without asking questions. Terrible experience and a terrible manager.
