Pros

This is owning your own business, and it is not a job. You have a ton of support but you decide your time and your vacations. To be successful with FFL you have to be a self-motivated person.

Cons

You need to run business on weekends too. It's the best time to work

Great People, But.....

Pros

Fantastic group of people. Upline is supportive and works hard. Good place for new agents.

Cons

Too much of the Rah-Rah/Drum Circle style of management. Way too many gatherings/meetings for recognition or listening to others successes. This is fine, but not every other day. Call days are two days per week and you are expected to call leads rather than working in the field. Their method for setting appointments and "controlling the conversation" is intrusive and borders on unethical. While they claim to be client focused, their operational style is member and up-line focused. There is a constant push to hire agents, whether you are new or not; more agents mean more money for the up-line.

All of our trainings/meetings are completely optional for our agents. If an agent feels that it is too overwhelming for them to attend trainings or in office meeting they do not have to attend them. In regards to the "two call days". A lot of our top agents follow a schedule where they have 2 dial days and 3-4 "field days" This schedule is what has allowed a lot of our agents to issue over $400,000 per year. That being said, you are an independent contractor therefore that schedule is merely a suggestion. If you choose to follow it or go your own way is completely up to the agent. Lastly, we do not pressure our agents to recruit. IF they would like to create an agency they can, but we have plenty of agents who choose to just remain as solo producers as well.

Pros

Work hard and get paid very generous serving clients and best training provided for free. Top agents helping new agents to succeed when they work hard. For me, I am able to work part time while learning and make a very significant income. Going full time soon.

Cons

No cons for me. I wish, I started sooner than later.
