Pros

Great group of people at the company generally, good workers, creative.

Cons

Too much BS at the top level of the company. Too much infighting.

Pros

Great "techy" culture, treated like an adult/human, trusted to get your work done within the deadlines and no one breathing down your neck, management communication was the best I have ever seen - everyone was kept in the loop regarding what was going on in the company and they were very approachable if you ever had any questions, you can work from home if needs be, brilliant break out areas, amazing supportive teams and easily the best place I have ever worked. A lot of other businesses could learn a lot from Fanduel.

Cons

I can't think of any! Only thing I will say is it would be an idea for team leaders/managers to notice when members of their team are struggling with the workload and intervene before the employee gets to breaking point.

Pros

The culture has always been to try to do the right thing, within the limitations of reality. There is a strong push to eliminate technical debt, and to empower employees to use their own initiative to do things well and improve things without having to get sign-off by management. Company offers a great working environment in terms of both the physical office and the freedom to work from home as and when it suits you.

Cons

There have been tough times recently, with a fair bit of belt-tightening due to the wave of legislation sweeping the US states. Things seem to be getting better again, and the recent New York legislation going in our favour feels to have been a sea change in the difficult legal landscape that we've seen since the end of 2015. Prior to that, we experienced serious growing pains as we struggled to recruit a huge number of new people to fill all the work we needed to get done.
