Pros

I thought the salary is a pro, but after facing all the issues salary benefit hardly matters. I would prefer earning less and living a good balanced life.

Cons

Micro-management happens. No skip level meetings. Nobody from higher management cares. Senior people just want to be boss here, not a leader. Worst work-life balance. Blame game when something wrong happens, the "boss" doesnt come forward to take ownership, just blame on someone and get away with it. I would recommend same compensation is offered from other companies also who respect employees personal lives. Pls do not join this company.

Pros

* Most of the technologies are opensource like Redshift, Hive, Hadoop * Open to explore new tech stacks * Competitive salaries * Doesn't enforce for late night meetings/standup even though core team is in San Mateo

Cons

* HR doesn't know process and bluntly make fake promises related to policies * Policies in US are far better than India * Right know no cubicles which is little disturbing to work

Pros

when i joined two years ago, the work seemed interesting and i was given flexibility in terms of working hours and wfh option. Wednesday lunches were a novelty. Coming to the present scene, work got repetitive and uninspiring. Undue pressure to come to office 3 days a week despite attending late work calls is incomprehensible. all the flexibility has been taken away and work environment is getting increasingly toxic.

Cons

Expectation to attend late calls and show up to office 3 days a week is something most employees are struggling with. No cafeteria, need to go to another building to find something to eat. Inability of higher management to understand employees issues and harping unnecessarily on the need to come to office.
