Pros

Fannie Mae has great benefits and the culture is very flexible as a rule. Most of the people I have worked for have been decent and team oriented.

Cons

The company needs to spend some resources training the front line manager. They often seem to be overwhelmed and spend too much time in their offices with their doors closed. Meeting times and places are not honored and it's too hard to get a one on one with your boss.

Pros

The Company pays well and the offers a good work to life ratio. Overall the non work benefits are the best part of working for Fannie Mae

Cons

The enviornment is very political. It is very hard to get ahead by doing good work unless someone above you wants to pull you up. Senior management says people are their most important thing in the company but thier actions clearly show that lower level people are viewed as completely expendable
