Pros

Pretty good pay. Even without half day Fridays 9-5 is a really nice schedule. Coworkers are great to work with. Integrated with copilot.

Cons

Difficult to separate after work. No more half-day Fridays. Too many meetings, it is very difficult to get consistent time to code. Lots of restrictions and need to reach out to other teams because you lack permissions.

Mission Driven Culture. Great work life balance

Pros

Everyone is tied culturally to “the mission” to make homeownership affordable and equitable. In such a large company this definitely makes you feel like your work matters. The work life balance is also amazing. Managers actually let you be the boss of your own schedule and let you decide where you want to work (in office or at home). Half day Friday’s are great! Benefits are top notch and hard to beat.

Cons

It’s a big company, so lots of red tape. Often slow to match salaries with the rest of the industry. But in all fairness this seems like it is starting to improve.
