Pros

Not stagnant. Lots of opportunities and new products. Not relying on print magazines to carry them into the future.

Cons

Management is mostly the same age (early 60s), white, male-dominated. Probably going to be sold in the near future.

Pros

I worked with some great colleagues at The Packer. It was awesome to work at a trade publication serving the fresh produce industry.

Cons

The Packer is in a transition phase as Farm Journal Media recreates it. That means there is a lot of flux.
