      Pros

      FGI is very diversified in both market sector and discipline so they can afford to keep high performing employees that have slow periods in their sector / specialty. Work is shared across groups to maintain a good work life balance and keep utilization more consistent. The best thing of all, is the security of knowing you have a place here long term. The people are great to work with and the projects are meaningful.

      Cons

      Only the same minor things that every similar sized company deals with. FGI management does their best to keep things fair and appropriate. However, it is a business and expectations are appropriately high.

      Pros

      The people at Farnsworth Group are the best. They really take their time in the interview process to make sure that the people they bring in are people with integrity and competency. Management really helps promote individual growth and working to achieve goals.

      Cons

      Worksharing from multiple offices creates opportunities for projects to be properly staffed, but projects budgets can be shot as people light on work may bill and overshoot budgets.

      Pros

      Everyone I worked with was respectful of me and water the best for me from the top Principals to the admins. I worked with the administrative team a lot. They were really great, and hopefully life long mentors of mine. Farnsworth was a great opportunity for my internship. I definitely recommend any other junior or senior engineer or architect to apply!

      Cons

      I help a lot with the move and cleaning out things/ packing but that is to be expected when I am an intern and they are about to move buildings. It is all hands on deck!! (Showing good teamwork for all employees)
