As someone at the early side of my career, I can see my future here
Pros
There is a lot of flexibility and latitude for creativity. You will work your butt off but at the end of the day, your opinion is valued and you will have the opportunity to influence many aspects of your work. Farnsworth Group feels like a small company and does not have an oppressive hierarchy (there's definitely a traditional structure, but it is pretty simple and the leaders are approachable). If you invest the time in getting to know the leaders of the organization and share your ideas and suggestions, you will get noticed and be able to be part of shaping the organization as a whole. I've never worked so hard at a position in the past, but I've never worked in a place where I've been able to have a voice and be heard this well. Very rewarding and fun!
Cons
The company is growing and things are changing quickly, however the amount of support to the technical areas needs to catch up. I end up wearing a lot of hats just to get the work done and be successful. However, this issue appears to be improving and has actually helped me grow new skills.
