Pros

•FAST gives you a lot of responsibility early on, which helped me grow technically and professionally. •The culture values efficiency and productivity, and there’s pride in delivering quality work. •I enjoyed the production support work and appreciated the direct impact our projects had. •The company offers solid pay and benefits, and the people on the ground are generally kind and hardworking.

Cons

•Support and guidance can be very inconsistent, especially if you’re struggling. I often asked for help or clarification and either got delayed responses or none at all. •Expectations aren’t always clearly communicated, which made it hard to know where I stood on certain projects. •After asking for help through the appropriate channels, including HR, I felt abandoned and eventually let go without a clear explanation. •It’s not an environment where you can expect proactive mentorship or much psychological safety if things start to go wrong.

Pros

Good pay for new grads Good health insurance Some sites are good

Cons

Your experience at FAST (at the junior level) is entirely dependent on the site you are assigned to. You start with a few weeks at HQ in CO to get training and get to know your class of new hires. Then you're shipped off to a site you have very little input on. While the people at HQ seemed nice, the experience at my site couldn't have gone worse. Management isolated and bitter, led by people who seemed tired of an endless rotating door of new-hires. Nasty office politics, no attempts at team building, and general dread toward coming in every day. Some of the people from my new hire class had better experiences - depends entirely on the management you're given to. Thus the title.
