It was my first real job, people at this firm are very friendly and supportive. With few months of experience most of the new hires end up taking on projects.

Cons

If you are looking for a steep upward mobility this is not a company for you. Fast Enterprises has pretty flat organizational structure.

Cons

Vacation does not increase over time Working in government sector means some assignments will move slowly Can be challenging to advance into leadership roles - company has very flat structure Many of the skills you learn may be specific to this job, and may not translate well to future positions with different companies

- Generous compensation and benefits - Work hard, play hard culture - cooperative work environment. Peers do not have to fail for me to succeed - Flat organization. With few exceptions, employees at all sites and levels are willing to talk to me (though finding time may not always be easy for partners) - Family friendly culture. Families, friends and significant others are welcome to most company social functions. People are welcoming and this is promoted by the corporate culture. - People generally are very employee-sensitive, and client-supportive. They're not out to milk employees or clients for the bottom line. - Lots of growth and professional opportunities, albeit not necessarily formalized

Cons

- Constantly evolving in terms of market offerings and workforce, so this impacts policies and processes. If you like a very structured environment, with predictability each day/month/year, may not be for you. - Can be lots of overtime - relocating can be stressful
