Pros
After going through a bit of a rough phase in the previous period, FastSpring is building up a great team again in Amsterdam. Positive atmosphere on the floor, solid cooperation between colleagues/departments, fantastic new office space/building and fun after work activities. Amsterdam is starting to operate as one single team, instead of different departments. Nice benefits; like health reimbursement, daily lunch budget, pension scheme, free in-house gym at the office etc. Budgets are available for personal development by training/courses/education of choice (personal annual budget), workspace improvements, after work activities, team building activities and general office improvements (fresh coffee, snacks, soft drinks, fruit, PS4, etc.) Also nice to have a Formula 1 race simulator on the ground floor of the building ;-) Big benefit: FastSpring Friday - meaning you get every other Friday afternoon paid time off.
Cons
Not a lot of overlapping working hours with US HQ, so sometimes necessary to work a bit longer. It is however not a problem at all to start later on that (or the following) day in order to compensate late hours.
