      Pros

      Great Values, good business model, provides necessary services, commitment to customer service, All of the benefits of a local community business serving a local customer base with the backing and buying power of a corporation.

      Cons

      can be hit or miss depending on who works at the individual branches, High stress environment, sometimes has unrealistic goals

      Pros

      Good people to work with. Very good part time job. Excellent learning .

      Cons

      Terrible pay. Every time you start to get ahead and make decent money the" system " changes. In the past three years I have seen at least 4 different pay"restructures" ALL have been pay cuts either for OS or GM . Turnover is terrible. Upward mobility is non-existent. 50 hr workweek for 26k and VERY high stress.

      Pros

      Upward mobility for motivated, dedicated hard workers. I read alot of bad about Fastenal, but in the end I have seen mostly good. One thing holds true, if your under a bad GM its gonna be bad! I had a bad GM, but I stuck to it, did my job well, learned all I could and put it to use, now I am the GM and continue to learn and grow with the company. Fastenal School of Business, if taken seriously is a huge benefit, where else can you go where they give you all the tools you need to succeed? No where that I have ever worked.

      Cons

      Sometimes you are over worked and can get burned out. Balancing a store and family is rough at times.
