Pros

Flexible work hours, pretty good pay for the work. Opportunities to learn a lot about the industry and how the company works.

Cons

Little to no opportunities for advancement within the store. Most of the tasks given were menial and there was no emphasis on my learning or progression.

Pros

Great scheduling around schooling. Pay is excellent for a part time student. A lot can be learned about good and bad business through your experience within the company.

Cons

Part time hours are limited. Some management positions are definitely held by people that shouldn't be in management, which therefor means you are working for someone whose best interests are not necessarily the company which in turn lowers employee retention.
