Pros

Processes are well defined. Focus on safety. Co-workers are friendly and helpful. Product is interesting. Stock option plan is good.

Cons

Too much work load. Excessive overtime, especially at quarter end. Frequent lay-off and re-hiring to meet quarterly numbers. Focus is on quarterly numbers instead of customers and employees. Pay is low for the stress involved.

Pros

The group on the shop floor is a great group to work with. The Ops team is in sync most of the time and wants to get things done.

Cons

The shop floor vs. office mgmt. divide is HUGE. The engineering staff fight every improvement the shop tries to make. There's no hope for any significant raise and the "quarterly bonus" that is supposed to make up for it has been going down.
