Pros

The people you work with are smart and competent

Cons

Hiring freeze has caused the technical support call center to be severely under-staffed with no signs of improvement in the future. So when the average hold time for someone calling in is over 4 minutes, we are no longer allowed to actually troubleshoot any problems, we have to escalate all of those calls to the self-serve call back group who will get to the problem 48 hours later. It's frustrating when you know you're able to solve a problem someone is having, but aren't allowed to help that person just so an arbitrary service level agreement can be met.

Pros

Work for a fortune five hundred company. Use as a starter company toward larger targets. Great in the door abilities to see other companies to work for. Learn team play. Good benefits

Cons

Poor ideas from the top and bad implementation of those. Being cornered around them and not able to make changes toward a real paying position. Talent is not seen as important and being a body for a position is all you can expect.

Pros

Good for fist job or flexibility while going to school full time.

Cons

pay, respect, management, favoritism, fairness, benefits are really expensive more of just a discount, extensive required classes and very little time to complete them, lack of intelligent coworkers, not paid fairly for the extensive knowledge and hard work it requires, to name a few. Not a good place to work if you start at the bottom to work your way up and already have work experience and/or degree, or if you need to make enough money to support yourself. I was never given a 90 day review, worked full time for 3 months without being considered full time and not even getting benefits without my knowledge. Was left alone to run the store for long periods during extremely busy times and no breaks. Was training people making more than me and had been there for years. Did not receive a promotion that everyone thought I would get due to favoritism (personal relationship). I was clearly more qualified and no one took action to remedy the situation. Poor management and lack of concern for my well being and happiness.
