Pros

Great pay and benefits for a part-time job. Excellent tuition reimbursement program. Sort managers were great to work with. Management is very flexible in allowing time off and using vacation time. However, vacation time must be used by fiscal year end because it doesn't roll over.

Cons

Very dirty environment. Loud. Very hot in the summer. Cold in the winter. Physically demanding job. Got to check every package and beware of SALTs. Unloaders must meet merge line goals of 1000 packages per hour. Loaders must familiarize themselves with load charts and ensure packages are loaded in the correct trailers. Very high turnover.
