There are really good people working at FedEx and the organisation supports its employees well. Whilst HR leaves a lot to be desired, the management teams generally care about their teams and work hard to support them. If you're in a place where you want stability and predictability, FedEx could be a great company for you. It offers great benefits and attractive salaries to its staff as well as nice opportunities for personal development.

Cons

FedEx is an in-effective company that hasn't moved with the times. It's top-down and top-heavy structure makes it incredibly slow moving and leadership is, at best, indecisive. Time is wasted sat in meetings, reviewing powerpoint slides, debating approaches and ownership rather than getting stuff done. If you get energy from making a difference and having an impact, this probably isn't the place for you.
