Pros

- Lot of raises, 5 in the first year (Quarter each) - Pretty good health insurance package - Two weeks of paid vacation and paid holidays after one year of employment

Cons

- Short hours, usually less than 25 a week - Lots of employee turnover - Not climate controlled - Very limited chances for career advancement

Pros

I enjoy seeing people each day and seeing that they are satisfied with the FedEx service. Some times that can be difficult.

Cons

The fact that management will not allow us to take out (2nd day and express saver)Tuesday and Wednesday Packages on Monday, but we are forced to take 2nd day and express saver packages out the rest of the week. This is all done to make it "look" like Monday is a light volume day!

Pros

You get to become connected with the business community and go behind the scenes to see what goes on in the warehouse, on the dock, manufacturing areas, production, etc. Very fascinating stuff goes on behind otherwise normal looking front doors.

Cons

Enormous bureaucracy - it's very difficult to make progress. No career progression unless you want to move to Memphis.
