The pay is mediocre for a sales job and there's limited control over territory performance. Employees used to be valued much more at FedEx. Sales used to have more flexibility and entertainment opportunities, but those have dwindled over the years. This role requires an abundance of administrative work with little support, which makes it difficult to carve out time for actual selling.
