Pros

Great leadership at the company - this is a company that truly cares about its employees. Excellent benefits and open door policies with management, human resources, and senior management. Executives take the time to visit employees on-site and listen to what is going on.

Cons

Federated is a government contractor, so some government locations are very politically charged. Federated really does what they can to mitigate this, but the customer site creates tension.

Ability to progress in professional development opportunities through an annual stipend Culture is amazing and love working with true IT professionals Compensation and benefits is one of the more attractive for small-medium sized business Cutting edge technology with clients Employees are treated well and fairly. Corporate culture rewards performance

More collaboration amongst other projects.

They hire smart, technically competent employees Growing prime contracts and reducing subcontracts Good salary and benefits -Decent merit raises -Christmas bonus Personable and confident Management -Great vision and drive to win essential, national security contracts Perks of a small business -Flexible with taking time off -Occasional lunches/team outings -Birthday card/gift Work/life balance; however, this depends on contract/customer/role

Cons

Little insight into "what's going on in the company" You will be silo-ed at a customer site with minimal external interaction -No real promotion/advancement structure, you'll need to change contracts Lack of internal opportunities: -Only what's available on the careers page -No true sense of employee retention/bench time
