Bright and dedicated people. Respectful workplace. An important mission A driven executive team. Opportunities to take charge of your job and your role. Fulfilling work at the end of the day.

Cons

In a tough economy, non-profits are having more trouble than ever predicting cashflow, as the individuals and companies that support its work are themselves strapped for cash. This means that employees (like everywhere right now) are dealing with some uncertainty about job security.

great work life balance pay is good for amount of work required

Cons

Incestuous group of people more concerned with developing friendships than retaining talent Either incompetent people are not recognized as incompentent, or it's just understood that they're incompetent so no one expects anything from them The entire Human Resources department is completely incompetent Organization is not open to new ideas or new ways of doing things. Organization promotes children to senior leadership positions so the level of maturity is severely lacking
