In the department that I worked (merchandising) the cost cutting would get extreme. We worked with independent contractors that traveled with us on tour. The company was continuously cutting the deal with them that made the good contractors leave the company. Made it hard to staff a tour with quality people. When you were on break during the summer you were still "on" even if you were not receiving a paycheck.

Bullying, mismanagement, lack of care for workers, overworked crew, low pay, pettiness (like being in high school), shared hotel rooms and if you want your own room you have to pay half towards it, very few benefits, dangerous crew, promotion of unfit individuals in their roles, old outdated equipment that needs constant repair, bus breakdowns whilst travelling, show directors make very little sense and change their minds constantly, cliquey in-groups who won't show you respect, a general overall lack of respect towards others, mistreatment of local workers, the crew have a tireless and relentless need to be above other people and ego seems to drive a lot of workers in this company. If you work in entertainment, they'll likely give you a job but you will NOT want it. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!
