Pros
Travel the world. Good people to work with. Decent pay Part of IATSE If you are just out of college or looking for work as a technician, this is a good place to start. I already had a good amount of knowledge about lighting so I didn't need to much training, but they do teach you and train you on the job.
Cons
Long hours They expect you to do a ton of work in a short amount of time. There is always a sense of urgency. So it is a fast paced style of work. Everything needs to get done yesterday. High turn over with mangers and some employees Electrician typically have the most work out of all departments.
