Pros

I am a middle aged person in decent health and the health insurance is adequate for me.

Cons

The company has been engaging in many cost cutting efforts, including making a salaried worker work 6:30 am-5:00 pm and sometimes weekends. They got rid of perks like bagels and coffee. You will have to work the day after 4th of July and on friday, even for an office position. They will barely train you and there is no clear path for advancement. We once had a meeting because someone complained over the water cooler that they were forced to work 16 hours in one weekend doing menial data entry that was unrelated to the employees job. The employee was salaried. They are currently buying out employees and I fear there will be layoffs.

Pros

Good technology and pay. Some good people.

Cons

They say they care about their employees but when it comes right down to it they don’t. Very inflexible on how they do things and resistant to change.

Pros

*Pay and compensation is relatively competitive. * Paid time off and health insurance is decent * Great people to work with, current branch has cultivated a professional family oriented atmosphere. * The company normally hires internally for vacated and new positions * Services within the company "I.e." Insurance health programs designed to help you pick the right coverages, IT groups to help with software and computer problems are all available. * If you put in your time within the company the job stability is good

Cons

*Management can be lackadaisical at times *Overall the company is slow to react and make decisions in all aspects. This is a well known internal fact. *Plumbing division at branch level has an over arching theme of frat boy or good ol' boy mentality. * Work life balance was pretty much non existent for awhile but has been improving as of late * Turn over rate within warehouse groups are high and limited progression for employees. * Not many Holidays are recognized unfortunately * Be expected to work an entire weekend twice annually for inventory.
