Pros

BRGs Company discount Opportunities for growth

Cons

Must like working 10-12 hours to be performing at expectation for salary positions Local/district management is fond of nepotism and skilled at getting rid of people that speak up against valid issues HR is not your friend Be prepared to be scrutinized for doing your job (do more with less) Quick to do hiring freezes, not replace people and then hold people accountable (relevant mgrs) for poor performance or morale instead of addressing the issues: shorthanded/pay/etc

Pros

Decent pay; though not top wages. Most employees get along well and work together as a true family team. Several bonuses; more than anywhere EVER previous. Free coffee, ice, and water. Occasionally provided with free donuts and luncheons; free meal, drinks, and snacks during bi-annual inventory. Team member recognition during hiring and anniversary. Promotions available to those whom will undergo training and/or those with formal further education, perseverance, hard work, and willingness to learn and take on extra responsibility. Management friendly. Growth booming since prior to actual grand opening; possibility of advancement for certain positions and locations. On-line training courses. Great camaraderie amongst most team members.

Cons

Pay not the greatest especially with today's crazy over inflation costs; hard to survive as an individual contributor to family income; other nationwide locations with similar cost of living paid much better for lesser positions/credentials. Some individuals seem to be favored over others; not having to "pull weight" during "all hands-on-deck" moments; not ALL rules seem to apply to ALL individuals. Transportation navigation devices and credit department navigation entries not always accurate causing navigation errors and issues to drivers, including being navigated into residential/no truck routes; need traditional ELD devices with TRUE truck routes. Communication throughout various levels often nill to none; poor at best. Successful branches not motivated nor rewarded equally. Advancement for more labour intense positions minimal at best; especially without formal education. Need more/better ventilation and fans for warehouses. Warehousing crews often over worked (long hours) and not regularly highly appreciated. Customers favored over team members; teams often having to perform extra or unnecessary work, where time, attention, and labor could be focused on more important and necessary functions. Often difficult getting necessary items (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, packaging tape, etc.).
