Pros

It mainly depends on where you get hired on. Some places have a great culture and leadership.

Cons

Where to start, 4 years had 2 pay cuts and 2 promotions that do not add up to what I originally signed on to Ferguson. No cost of living adjustments. No raise, or less than $1 raises every year. There is very little training and development opportunities unless you are willing to move or as I said in the pros above, getting into a good location/logon. They ARE NOT all the same. Turn over rate is Very High, due to incompetent or nonexistent leadership, inability to take care of core or veteran employees and leadership so everybody leaves the company or logon.

Pros

Benefits are decent. was able to work at home during COVID.

Cons

I have received 2 pay cuts since being a 6 year employee (no standard of living raise that I was promised, and the pay cut that came with hour changes with COVID that have not been remedied) . I have always received great reviews, I do my job well and have been given more and more responsibility over the years, but when I ask about raises, it is "not in the budget" and "hopefully we will be able to get you what you deserve but right now we unfortunately can't give you that", all the while they are boasting about surpassing sales goals and growing immensely as a company and hiring more bodies.
