      Pros

      Ferguson is a well-established company with a high level of job security. As an essential business Ferguson did amazingly well through the pandemic, and I would expect it to weather most any storm.

      Cons

      Ferguson is a large company and does not change course quickly unless there is a high level of pressure to do so. They claim to value their employees, but their actions don't always back that up.

      Pros

      The people, benefits are the best part that I've experienced so far. The opportunities are slim unless you would like to relocate and the pay for the stress and workload is nothing worth bragging on.

      Cons

      For this role, you basically do all of the work yet the outside salesmen get ALL of the commission. You also answer phone calls and act as a call center representative as well.

      Pros

      The workers who get the stuff done. Most are harder working, customer focused individuals. Customers always say it’s those folks (counter, warehouse, sales) that keep them coming back.

      Cons

      Leadership or lack there of. There are very few leaders in leadership roles. Micro managers and folks that came up in the old school “franchise style” method where they don’t know why they do it, it’s just what they have done. They def do not listen to customers or employees on ways to improve. The method is this is the mold and if a customer or employee doesn’t like it, move on.
