Business Outlook
Pros
The benefits were decent. The bonuses for salaried employees were good. The CEO is a great, personable guy from what I could tell. The pay for my position was nice. There is a sense of family at times and that was nice.
Cons
When management changed, everything changed. I know that in the corporate world you have to be prepared for anything, but I still am hurt the way I was let go. People in my department were told our jobs were safe and more than a few of us were let go without notice (although we kinda had an idea). Career opportunities without degrees are non-existent depending on the manager, no matter how long you have been on the job. Depending on the department, there is a glass ceiling.
