Pros

Ferguson really cares about their people and the work environment is generally good. Overall I was happy working at Ferguson and most of the people that I worked with were generally happy.

Cons

The biggest complaint that I have with Ferguson is the pay is not adequate. I worked in the IT department and the salaries weren't as high as other companies in the Hampton Roads area that require the same skill level or less.

Pros

Lots of career paths available, management is generally supportive of employees who want to expand their horizons and move into new roles.

Cons

The HQ tech center annex is overcrowded and uncomfortable. Ferguson also has to share profits with Wolseley PLC, which means Ferguson employees often bear the brunt of poor performance in Europe even when Ferguson does well.
