Pros

Great for relational sales Reliable, if under market norm, income Some good managers Very good benefits, including health insurance and 401k match

Cons

Good old boy's club (largely sexit and racist depending on the department) Technologically stagnant and arrogantly technophobic Business model going obsolete and management driving steadily towards cliff Terrible work/life balance and PTO Pay is not competitive Majority of managers have no business managing

Pros

Ferguson is the world's largest industrial wholesale company. As a result, there are many locations and many career opportunities. The benefits are slightly above average as they offer 401K match, health insurance, dental, etc.

Cons

NO WORK LIFE BALANCE - Pay people just enough to stick around. More like modern day slave labor. Expect so much out of their employees without giving them the tools or support to fulfill the roles properly and effectively. Raises are very seldom. Stay away...
