If you do not like traveling and being away from home for extended periods of time, this is not the job for you. Typically you can be assigned to a project anywhere from 3-6 months. Vacation is granted every 6 weeks for 7 days. This is new construction Wind turbine projects so there are down times do too over hiring of employees, that could have you not working for a period of time with no pay. It is advisable to have a back up trade, to continue to have income in the event this happens.
