Pros

Great benefits, large organization, some career paths depending on which line of business you work in.

Cons

Unfortunately there is a lot of favoritism at the bank and if you are not in the "in" group, friends with the right people or connected to the right people, your career options are limited. In addition, long term employees tend to be paid at a lower level than newer hires, due to limited merit increases over the years.
