Pros

Flexibility with work schedule. They are starting to care about thier employees by changing policies and utilizing employee engagement surveys from gallup to measure effectiveness of changes.

Cons

Compensation is low and you will have to work many hours to keep up with demands of workload. Limited career growth once you hit the Regional level unless you relocate.

Pros

Very flexible positions. Can manage your own time with work. Great place to start your career in banking and learn a lot of different things at once. It's a place of who you know and little of what you know. But if you can build great internal relationships and do a great job at what you do, you'll certainly see advancement. It's a very well known bank which makes it easy when introducing yourself to someone. Altogether its a very nice place to work, good benefits but a little soft on the pay and there logic of how they determine pay grades.

Cons

No clear direction for advancing within the company. If your someone who is looking for a nice career but maybe doesn't have a high level of ambition, you may be lost. You need to be aggressive, know the right people and do a nice job to get anywhere. I don't think the average guy who does his job well goes very far. They will take advantage of that. You'll need to speak up and ask for what you want, probably have to fight for it or it won't come. In some cases you feel like you have to leave and come back to get what you want.

Pros

Not a bad company to work for if you are just starting out. They will offer some training that will be helpful for a better bank down the road. They were flexible with my schedule for a decent work/life balance. Pay is ok but not amazing. I would suggest it to a college graduate or someone who is looking to step into the banking world at a smaller firm as they have a fairly easy system to get into without any related experience. Customer service seems to be better than a few of the larger banks which helps to give them atleast one edge on some of the competition.

Cons

Upper management needs some definate work. They do not know how to retain talent very well and turnover is especially high in the current market.
