Pros

Really hard to list any pros. Some of the people I worked with were great?! Thats not Filevine though, thats just those people.

Cons

Honestly, I am suprised Filevine is in business. - Toxic culture - Toxic sales methods (I was told by upper management that I should take it as a compliment if I get called a "used car salesman") - Unrealistic quotas - The company makes "record" profits but there is like 30% attainment. Complete joke. - Zero work life balance. They expect you to work 12 hour days. They literally tell you to not take time off end of month/quarter. Even for major life events.

Pros

The office is a nice building and the coworkers are great

Cons

- no direction, work here if you want to be jerked around all the time and have no consistency - the positive reviews here seem to be fabricated by upper management - there are no processes in place - upper leadership is short sided and does not have the best interest of there employees in mind - the 1 star reviews are all true. Don’t fall for the same mistake I did. The market is tough but don’t settle for a job at Filevine it is not worth it. No flexibility and only 3 reps out of 26 hit quota last quarter. OTE is off by about 30%.

Pros

Solid coworkers. Pretty good sales leadership.

Cons

It's sad how far this company has fallen from "grace", if you will. Filevine is a poor place to work. Employees are exploited at every turn, particularly in my department. With the removal of CSM's, my job is now an inside sales rep AND a CSM and I don't have the bandwidth for both. And since my job is only measured by how much money I bring into to this organization, I have no incentive to support my customers. And yet, if I don't support my customers, I cannot adequately sell to them because they hate Filevine (due to the lack of support). You've exploited the account management team for far too long, underpaying us all along the way. It's now going to come back to bite them as their beloved account management team will be leaving for other jobs after 2 consecutive record breaking years. I sincerely hope that these departures of some of your best salespeople helps you realize the importance of CSM's and support motions that actually support the customers, instead of placing the middleman role on our shoulders. It's despicable how you've expected this of us with no pay raises (in fact, pay decreases). This company is on an all out sprint” (literally a phrase they use here) to get public and they are willing to exploit their employees to do so. Hopefully, Ryan Anderson recognizes his hubris and this company decides to make some changes that take it in the right direction. The product is fantastic and the people making and supporting the product are wonderful. A sad example of how poor leadership can kill motivation, culture, and the work ethic of fantastic employees.
