Everything is not what it seems…

Pros

Filevine is up there with one of the best places I’ve ever worked. You get a lot of ‘swag’ for being an employee and a lot of free food. The people are great minus the higher ups. You aren’t treated like children, but adults

Cons

You constantly have a fear of being fired or laid off. Higher ups set ridiculous goals that are impossible to hit. And when they don’t hit others are blamed. Training is horrible, you don’t learn anything about the actual product and have to basically train yourself. Leadership and CEO are not nice people. Fake smiles for the meetings but won’t respond to a ‘hi’ in the hallways. Managers start giving you the cold shoulder randomly and soon enough you’re fired without any warning.

Pros

Unlimited PTO - actually, not the gimmick version Flexible schedules Considerate people, good work environment

Cons

Being remote you feel entirely isolated Poor meeting structure for remote No 401k match, health benefits only just improving No remote perks - lots of food and gifts in person, nothing remote
